Discover Thal - Birthplace of Arnold Schwarzenegger

We heard about the Arnold Schwarzenegger Museum in Thal and we decided to roam around the small town during the weekend.

At Arnold Schwarzenegger Museum, you learn a lot about the history of Arnold Schwarzenegger; how he became an actor, his political career and his personal vision.

Atrracted by an interesting pink building, we drove there and discovered that it was actually a church. We didn't enter the church due to the rise of COVID-19 cases arising from gatherings at churches.

We were further drawn towards some horses in a distant ranch. We did some googling and found out it is actaully a riding club. We spent some time with the horses before venturing further.

Next to the riding club, there is this field with a huge patch of bright yellow grasses. We weren't sure how they were created but it's definitely not painted and it makes a great instagram photo.

Right behind the field is a cemetery. This is one of the rare times that I visited a cemetery. I saw headstones of different shapes, sizes and materials. Some were very elegant with speical engravings and polished finishes. We did a quick look and left so as to not disturb the dead.

ABOVE: The cemetery is right after the house. I am not sure if the house is meant for the undertakers or it's a legit home. It's so close to the cemetery!

Thal, is a very peaceful and small town. If there's time to spare why not visit the museum and take a short walk around. Last, I will end of with, 'I'll be back.'
